Season of Blessing
The Lord continues to bless our steps as we bless others in
this city. This season is the time when we all open our hearts and see what we
can do to help someone. Here at CSM we have just seen a blessing of helping to
serve 2800 families in our communities. We had over 50 partnering organizations
and hundreds of volunteers come and touch the heart of another family and say “Happy
Thanksgiving.”
Also, in this season of blessing CSM does our annual
“Connect Campaign,” where we are seeking to impact 2500 more families in 2016 by
raising $75,000. God is amazing and he gave us donors who will match the first
$20,000 donated. So the first $20,000 dollars will be doubled. God is good all the time, all the time God is
good. Please pray about this opportunity to share a blessing during this
season.
This season of blessing is year round for us. God opens wide
the opportunities to touch more lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This next month the Brazziel family home
rebuild will finish and they will be back in their home for Christmas. We are
excited to be a part of their journey and witness how God is moving in their
lives and in the lives of the volunteers and donors. On December 12, we will
move the Brazziels into their new home and many are joining us to make this
house a home. Come be a part of the blessing.

The finishing work is in progress, cabinets and floors are going in, and we are getting ready to decorate! Interested in helping? Contact Michael at michaelb@csmission.org.
Oak Mountain Collected The Most Cans This Season!
Oak Mountain collected 3300 pounds of cans for our drive! They worked hard to gather cans from their school and church so they could help more people. These kids volunteer with us
throughout the year and we love their commitment and enthusiasm.

Much Needed School Supply Drop At Local Schools
Much needed school supplies donated through Publix Supermarkets made their way to 20 inner city schools this October. Teachers and administrators will be able to supplement student supplies as well as classroom supplies. Crayons, scissors, pencils, notebooks, glue, activity books, reading books, paper, spiral notebooks, markers, and so much more were donated by Publix Supermarket customers through the United Way. By partnering with the United Way and Publix we are able to share these supplies with our church partners and they are able to bless their neighborhood teachers, administrators, and students!
