The Housing Ministry Team at CSM is all heart and hammers. Aaron Parsons and his group of faith volunteers, known as the SWAT Team, work tirelessly to bring help and hope to homeowners in the Birmingham community who are struggling to keep up with structural damage from storms, weather and other difficult issues.

This is the home of Allene White, a sweet lady in her early 80's determined to live on her own, though she is somewhat feeble. Her existing ramp was quite treacherous for her, and needed to be redesigned and rebuilt. The SWAT guys were thrilled to be able to really help someone in need and took great pride in the work they were doing for her and the Lord. The before and after pictures tell the tale.
